I suppose I should call it herbalism more than alchemy. But there's enough crossover that knowledge of both can benefit each.

What about you? Is this how you're keeping your thoughts occupied? Searching for gems in the river?

I admit my idea of what qualifies as herbalism would have excluded experimentation beyond trying for a new flower color and the like.

Idle whim is the reasoning today, though I admit the location isn't by accident. The Encantado is a nice day trip for concerns to be lessened, and my traveling companion seems like he can use it.

That's good. Mutual benefit is the ideal, though not always a requirement with friends. If you find yourself idle and and too isolated, my door is always open. Or my relic, I suppose, if this is better for you.
