Caduceus is not certified by modern standards, but he has acted as a grief counsellor to families of loved ones interred in his temple for near a century. The purpose of this post is to make him available for counselling for those who might need it: a listening ear, a gentle challenge, a guiding hand.

As a counsellor, Caduceus is patient, an excellent listener, and will work at whatever pace the other person is comfortable with. He is not afraid to gently challenge someone's self-deprecation or when he hears something concerning. He can be a little internally judgey, but it's rare that he says anything outright. He cares deeply for people and does what he can to support them and help them grow into their better self.

Sessions being played out aren't mandatory by any means! I'd love a first session to establish rapport, but also not required. Please use the toplevel to comment if you want to establish any level of counselling. Otherwise, create a new toplevel if you want a session!

Discussion Topics: im so sorry, akechi has so many issues, he'll never run out of stuff to talk abt ever. Specific topics- childhood trauma, grooming into murder by father, suicidal ideation, self-loathing, trauma associated with his own death.

Anything else?: no triggers on me end, akechi is just a Lot. I think his initial reason for approaching Cad would be to casually ask about sessions for Sumire and Ren (also some fucked up teens).

Discussion Topics: mostly just needs check ins about paying attention to their own feelings, working through some icky childhood stuff, and dealing with some of that trauma from APOC that Rue still hasn't super dealt with.

Anything else? idk! rue is a little avoidant with dealing with their own shit, but they also love and trust Cad, so they should be a pretty good patient!

Player Name: Lis
Discussion Topics: Grief, guilt, PTSD. Satine has very old trauma from most of her family dying in a civil war and everything Satine did to resolve that war. This has been somewhat dealt with in previous therapy, but not entirely, because she was never entirely honest. She has a lot of regrets regarding how she's handled her relationship with her sister, her son, and the father of her child. Her entire life/life's work fell apart right before she came here, and she knows she's 'fated' to die and the Maul here in Folkmore killed her, in his timeline. She's freshly grieving the relationships she was rekindling with her sister and her lover here in Folkmore, before they disappeared.
Meeting Frequency: Weekly at first, let's play out the first session and then we can handwave or do an occasion session based on vibes
Anything else? No triggers on my end. CWs include Satine's backstory involves teen pregnancy and lying to her son and his father, by telling everyone, including them, that her son was her nephew.
